Through Able Home Health Care Senior Services, Inc. (AHHCSS, Inc.), we continue that legacy by expanding support services that address critical unmet needs facing seniors, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers.

AHHCSS, Inc. was created as a natural extension of a trusted 26-year foundation of care.
Over the years, we witnessed the growing challenges seniors and caregivers face beyond traditional healthcare coverage — transportation barriers, food insecurity, caregiver exhaustion, housing instability, and social isolation.
Rather than allowing vulnerable individuals to fall through the cracks, we expanded our mission to provide essential extended support services that protect dignity, preserve independence, and strengthen families.

Our Journey of Service
1999
Able Home Health Care, LLC was established with a mission to provide compassionate and reliable in-home care throughout eastern North Carolina.
2000–2010
Expanded services across Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, Northampton, and Wilson counties while building trusted relationships with families, healthcare providers, and community leaders.
2010–2020
Strengthened caregiver training, compliance systems, and operational infrastructure — serving hundreds of seniors annually with dignity, professionalism, and accountability.
2023–Present
Recognizing the growing unmet needs beyond reimbursable care, Able Home Health Care Senior Services, Inc. (AHHCSS, Inc.) was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding support for vulnerable seniors and family caregivers.
