(AHHCSS), we extend that legacy by providing essential support services that insurance and traditional programs do not cover. Many of the services that prevent crises — transportation, nutrition assistance, caregiver respite, and housing stability — cannot be reimbursed through Medicaid or Medicare. Yet these supports are often the very things that keep a senior out of the emergency room or nursing facility.
