For more than 26 years, Able Home Health Care, Inc. has been a trusted provider of in-home care across eastern North Carolina. Building on that proven foundation, Able Home Health Care Senior Services, Inc. (AHHCSS, Inc.) was created as a nonprofit extension to reach seniors and families who need help beyond traditional healthcare coverage.

AHHCSS, Inc., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives, health, and overall well-being of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the family members who care for them at home.
We serve vulnerable individuals in Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, Northampton, and Wilson counties by addressing critical service gaps not covered by traditional programs. Through transportation assistance, nutrition support, personal care, and caregiver services, we help seniors remain safe, supported, and independent in their own homes.
At AHHCSS, our mission is simple: deliver Hope, Help, and Home to those who need it most—strengthening families, reducing preventable hospitalizations, and improving quality of life across our rural communities.
